The microphone cable 2791 by MOGAMI is specially designed for stage and broadcast. Due to its construction with 105 single wires, it is very flexible and yet extremely durable.
A special feature of this cable is the paper cover and the cotton threads in the cable. The paper sheath provides a significantly increased resistance to breakage and the cotton threads additionally stabilise and suppress interference. With its heavy-duty jacket and braided shield, the 2791 stands up to tough outdoor use and drums well. The low capacitance allows transmission over long distances without loss of height - the perfect cable for live use.
A four-core signal transmission and the extremely dense spiral shield effectively suppress electromagnetic interference from outside. Compared to other balanced signal guides, external interference signals are reduced by an additional 15dB. The result is recordings without interference and an extended usable dynamic range. The low capacitance of the cable ensures undistorted transparency and detail of the transmitted audio signal.
