The HighTension Aerial Microphone Cables are designed for hanging microphones, reinforced by a stainless steel cable with a breaking weight of 830 N (187 pounds) for the mono type (3177) and two equally sized cables for the stereo type (3178).
Although the sound quality is somewhat compromised (especially in the high frequency range), they are all designed with a quad configuration (shielded four-wire) for wider applications (to provide stronger electromagnetic noise rejection).
